Keeping it local this month, playing all the old W. NC haunts. Come on out and hear some new tunes...I've been ripping on Steve Goodman's "City Of New Orleans" and its been going well. Got a couple new originals kickin around too. Alyssa has been playing bass on a handful of tunes as well as she gets ready for her role in the new "Ask The Woods" project. Come check it out!

I have just booked the first two dates of a 2013 UK/Europe tour. Very excited to be back in the UK playing my own tunes. Charleston Singer/songwriter and good friend Kevin Church will be joining me on this trip and we'll be accompanying each other on our originals.

Just got my hands on some outstanding studio mics thanks to good friend and long time bass player Alex Booker. I'm starting to do some tracking from home for my new acoustic release. Then it gets sent off to Nashville for mix and mastering. Stay tuned for a release date!

Good to be settled down in Northern Vermont outside of Burlington in my new apartment. Foliage is peak here and I wasted no time hiking to the summit of Mt Mansfield. I'm looking forward to hunkering down and hashing out the last couple tunes to be on my 2012 release. Still debating on the studio and producer but I have a few great ideas! Also looking forward to a heavy snowy Vermont winter. Maybelle is getting ready for a deep sleep and will return to action as the tour bus in April of 2012. - Packed all my things and left my rental home in Black Mountain. Heading to MA to stash some stuff in my mom's basement and touring from Boston, MA to Anchorage, AK starting on the 1st. Check the calendar and follow the road blog to keep up with what's going on! Alaska or bust!

- Great to be back in Boston with the Fam. for a little downtime before the big cross country tour. Hopefully will be doing a bit of writing and prepping Maybell for her big ride!
- Tomorrow I'll be shooting a commercial for country music station "GAC." I will do a 60 second spotlight with interview and live performance clips. Keep your eyes peeled for it in June!
- Packing up in NC, hitching up the camper and heading up to Boston, MA for some some downtime with the family. June 1st is the first day of the Great Alaskan Tour and of course the first day I start living full time in Maybell (my 13' fiberglass camper trailer). 15 Shows lined up from New England all the way to Fairbanks, AK.
